These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers of The Hermit Inn.
By placing an order, making a booking, or using our services (including online mobile ordering), you agree to the following terms.
Orders & Payments
All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Payments made online are processed securely via our payment provider.
Once an order has been placed and confirmed, it may not be possible to cancel or amend it.
Availability
All food and drink items are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to substitute items where necessary.
Allergies
Customers are responsible for informing staff of any allergies or dietary requirements.
While we take care, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Refund Policy
Orders placed via our mobile ordering system are prepared immediately. Please check your order carefully before confirming payment.
If there is an issue with your order (e.g., incorrect or missing item), notify a member of staff as soon as possible and before leaving the premises. We will aim to resolve the issue by replacing the item or issuing a refund where appropriate.
Refunds are not available for change of mind once an order has been confirmed and preparation has begun.
If an item is unavailable or we are unable to fulfil your order, a full refund will be issued for the affected item.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 3–10 working days to appear, depending on your payment provider.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving inappropriately or intoxicated.
Damage to property may be charged to the responsible party.
Liability
The Hermit Inn accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Changes
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
